On April 17, 2012, Alan May and Slapshot from the Washington Caps came to McKinley to visit our 4th and 5th graders. The students learned about hockey equipment, played street hockey with Alan May, attempted shots on goal into a giant inflatable goal, had their pictures taken with Slapshot, and made posters.
