Volunteer Opportunities

There are so many ways to help at school. Here are just a few things that you can do:

- participate with the PTA; attend meetings and serve on committees

- chaperone field trips

- Reflections Contest

- Picture Days in the Fall and in the Spring

- read to children on Read Across America Day (in March)

- volunteer in your child's classroom through Room Parents; make arrangements with the teacher in advance

- share information about your profession during Career day (in June)

- volunteer in the library; make arrangements with Ms. Walter, the Library Media

Specialist in advance

- help with special activities for staff during Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week during

the first full week of May

- volunteer to help with the 5th grade promotion if your child is in fourth grade (or below)

- volunteer to help plan our movie night
