It Starts With One http://vimeo.com/32810545 Members of Nottingham’s very active 5th grade Planet Partners group developed a video for submission to the International Reflections contest in the ages 10-12 category. This contest was sponsored by the Earth Charter’s Initiative, www.earthcharters.org.  Principal Pelosky visited the University for Peace in Costa Rica to learn more about the tenets of the initiative, especially the Earth Scouts program. We are proud of our Knights for their efforts to be good stewards of the Earth!

Planet Partners

The Planet Partners is a student group of 3rd through 5th grade Nottingham Knights who are dedicated to learning about a variety of environmental issues and working to make our community greener. The Planet Partners promote general learning about and appreciation of the environment by providing weekly green facts to students,hosting Trash Free Tuesdays, holding special activities around Earth Day and America Recycles Day, as well as other activities throughout the school year. The Planet Partners also participate in cleaning up Nottingham's adopted street, Nottingham Street, and adopted park, Rock Spring Park. 

APS would like to clarify that Wed, Sept. 7 and Wed, Nov. 9 are not early release days at your child's elementary school. On those days, school will dismiss at the normal time and the Extended Day program will operate on its normal schedule.
