College & Career Corner

Welcome

The Arlington Public Schools' Counseling Program welcomes you to College Corner. This website is designed to provide parents and college bound students with up to the date information on local and regional scholarships, financial aid information, and testing dates. All of the information contained on this website is available in your school's Counseling department. In no way does this website substitute for the importance of getting scholarship and testing advice from your assigned school counselor.

One of the most valuable resources in the college admission's process is your school's Counseling Department. School Counselors are available to provide a variety of assistance in academic planning, test taking and career information. Each comprehensive high school also has a career education specialist who can help you with your search for college scholarships and career information.

The college application process requires advanced planning and research. Plan ahead, attend college fairs, visit colleges, talk to your counselor, and other school staff, watch deadlines, apply for scholarships and most of all, choose the college that is right for you.

College Night - Wed, Oct. 17, 2012 from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Ballston Common Mall (Corner of Wilson Blvd. & Glebe Rd.)
Representatives from more than 150 colleges, universities and trade schools will be available to answer student and parent questions about the college/trade school admissions process, academics and campus life. (More)
