This semester we have added almost 40 new classes. Some of the most popular classes include, cooking, carpentry, art, foreign languages, computers, music and voice lessons. Arlington Public Schools offers a wide variety of courses, through community education, three times each year.

Welcome to the Arlington Adult Education Program website. Here you will find something for everyone, from enrichment classes to professional certificate courses. We have been proudly serving the Arlington community for 80 years, providing quality adult education courses. If there is a class you are interested in that we do not currently offer, please contact us and let us know.
 

Parking at Clarendon Education Center

Metered parking at the Clarendon Education Center is very limited. Please try to use public transportation or carpooling. Covered parking is available at The Market Common, Clarendon's new parking garage on North Fillmore Street (see map). Enter and exit the parking garage ONLY on the North Fillmore side. Obtain a parking stub for validation at the Clarendon Education Center. Go to the 3rd floor, room 306 for parking validation.

Teaching Opportunities

Adult Education is looking for qualified and innovative instructors for its adult classes. Classes are held between 6:00-10:00p.m. Monday through Thursday and Saturday morning (usually once per week). Starting salary is approximately $19.50 per hour.
