FEES:

Fees are charged according to the sessions you select and the gross annual income of the student’s household (household = all adults living together as a family unit).

Income Under $75,000: For households with a gross annual income of $75,000 or less, fees are charged on a sliding fee schedule.

Income Over $75,001: For households with a gross annual income of $75,001 or more, the maximum rate applies.

SIBLING DISCOUNTS:

For households whose gross annual income is under $100,000, there is a discount if there is more than one child concurrently enrolled in the program.

Fees are not reduced when a child is absent due to illness and/or vacations or when weather or any emergency forces closing of school.

BILLING:

One annual bill, for the entire school year is mailed to each family.  This bill includes payment coupons for use with each monthly payment.  A coupon must accompany each mailed payment.

 

PAYMENTS:  

Tuition is calculated on a daily basis for the 182 days of school and divided into 9 equal payments.  Tuition must be paid by check or money order, made payable to ARLINGTON COUNTY SCHOOLS, or by Visa or MasterCard.

TUITION PAYMENTS:

FOR BARCROFT FAMILIES –

·August's tuition payment must be received by July 15th to ensure a student's place in the program on the opening day of school.

FOR ALL OTHER EXTENDED DAY/CHECK-IN FAMILIES –

· September's tuition payment must be received by August 15th to ensure a student's place in the program on the opening day of school. 

Cash payments are not accepted and payments are not accepted at the schools.

Credit card payments must be made in person at the Extended Day Central Office, 2801 Clarendon Blvd #204, Arlington, VA 22201. Credit cards must be issued in the name of the individual presenting payment.

Payments may be paid by mailing the payment with the payment coupon to the Extended Day Central Office or by depositing an envelope with the payment and coupon in a labeled envelope in the mail slot in the Central Office door.

The account balance for the current school year must be cleared by May 1 (June 1 for Barcroft families).
